Saxophonist Côme Rothé aka Chromé and producer Jérémy Vieille (2/3 of Zerolex Trio) collaborate with French ethnologists and the Echo System concert hall to create a book-record around the theme "Making materials sing". The album 1538 dresses this project with an immersive and cinematic jazz, tinged with ambient and experimental music. The organic and industrial sounds come into harmony with a rare sensitivity to illustrate this study on objects and their history.
