The Storm Watchers are a melodious surge of jazz, pushed by the winds of East France. This quartet is orchestrated by young composer and drummer Adrien Legay (vecteur0, M.A BEAT!) whose talents brought him across the Atlantic to join the prestigious Berklee College Of Music in Boston.

On the forecast: double bassist Julien Moneret and pianist Noé Degalle, as well as some strong winds coming out of Nicolas Gegout’s saxophones. The Storm Watchers show a strong bias towards timeless post-bop and modal jazz sounds. Their raw, hypnotizing, slightly electronic jazz is heavily reminiscent of New York clubs, with improvised sequences stretching to more ambient planes.
