Pouf Pouf Pantoufle

Behind the name Pouf Pouf Pantoufle are six musicians from Nancy, more precisely from the Lillebonne music school: Gabriel Lambert on bass, Guillaume Schwab on keyboards, Tom Colombain on trombone, Gaspard Petitnicolas on flute, Solal Piquand on drums, and their former music teacher, Vincent Petit on double bass. Pouf Pouf Pantoufle was born in 2019 as a free improvisation workshop and quickly began performing live in Nancy and the surrounding area, even as far afield as Germany. Inspired by free jazz, noise and prog rock, they offer a chaotic and deconstructed form of jazz from which emerge patterns and musical constructions tinged with jazz fusion and bruitist experimentation.

In 2022, the six musicians founded the APC association to organize concerts at the MJC Lillebonne, a very special venue in Nancy known for their avant-garde and experimental events. APC parties are often co-organized with BMM Records or the local noise collective RPT, and have become unmissable events for lovers of hybrid music, electronic curiosities, and unconventional performances.
