La Récré is the result of a long-standing friendship between Émile Sornin (Forever Pavot) and drummer Cédric Laban (Isaac Delusion), who met 20 years ago at an Iron Maiden concert at Bercy.

Both musicians already made a name for themselves in the French indie pop scene which makes La Récré a lowkey side project for the afficionados. In this raw groove exploration, La Récré plays with roaring delays, heavily reverbed keys and vocal samples from TV archives which adds an undeniable vintage flavour to their sound.
