Tzara the Machine

Since moving to Amsterdam in 2020, Venezuelan singer-songwriter and producer Francisco Garrido aka Tzara the Machine has quickly established himself as one of the rising voices of his generation. Francisco has studied in Berklee College of Music and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and has been supported by the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation for 7 years.

Known for his unique approach to composition, Francisco writes his music as a journal for thoughts and feelings he tries to understand, a safe haven during difficult times, and a source of peace in the middle of the storm. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Björk, Arca, and Animal Collective, Tzara creates a fresh, organic sound by mixing sampled acoustic instruments with electronic elements, vulnerable lyricism and sonic experimentation.
