Originally BMM Records' backing band, the group froze into a fully independent quartet — Louis Treffel, Quentin Thomas, Antoine Léonardon and Paul Lefèvre — following a jam session at BMM Land studio in 2019, all four groove enthusiasts and relentless sonic explorers. They kicked off with Our Gurus, a video series showcasing their influences through re-grooved versions of tracks by Boards of Canada, Madlib and Charles Stepney, among others.

Studio albums followed, along with local and international collaborations (Quelle Chris, The Brothers Nylon, Léon Evangelion...), forging a singular sound that incorporates French groove, jazz, psychedelia and electronica. It's a colorful, sprawling universe that comes through in their compositions, often recorded live then refined with heavy emphasis on arrangements and post-production. Self-proclaimed iconoclasts, the band has developed a reputation for boundary-pushing, forward-thinking music that sticks to nothing in order to achieve timelessness.
