Angoisse Magazine
Born in 2016 from jam sessions with Aurélien Fradagrada, Marius Atherton and Danny Kendrick in a Belleville apartment in Paris, Angoisse Magazine delivers haunting rock inspired by krautrock and vintage film soundtracks. The band cites Serge Gainsbourg’s Melody Nelson, Beak>, Silver Apples, and Atsuko Hatano as major influences.
Their debut EP 'L'Élastique', released independently in 2020, lays the foundations for their textured, minimalist music. The project welcomed violist Narimane Baba Aissa in 2021 and released a second EP: 'L'Aquarium' in 2023. Landing on the BMM catalog in 2026 after a tour in the US, they present their third EP 'Les Sirènes du Canal de l'Ourcq', which incorporates vocals for the first time, along with unsettling layers of sticky textures, botched samples, dry and precise rhythmic flows, and melodies that melt into space.
