WHATEVEREST
Whateverest is a French one-off jazzy hip hop project with T/O behind production and composition, GBO on the drums and Cookie on the bass.
They started it all on stage. After a one-shot and determining show with King Krule’s crew Sub Luna City and an invitation at Avant Garden Festival in London, Whateverest came back to their hometown Strasbourg, France to craft their sound.
Taking their roots in the indie hip-hop of the last decade and playing jazz with its original spontaneity and energy, the trio delivers a vaporous and abrasive new mixture.
Their debut self-titled EP shows a strong musical identity waving in hip hop, trap and mellow pop, dark but in a cool way.
